Caustica is an independent fashion label shaped by experimentation and cultural tension. The store lets its campaign imagery, movement and product detail define the brand.
The Challenge
The brand's identity is expressive and visual — but it still had to run real commerce. The risk was a generic retail interface that would flatten its character, or an expressive site that couldn't actually sell. It had to be both at once.
Scope of Work
- Creative direction
- UX/UI design
- E-commerce development
- Front-end development
- Motion & interaction
Responsibilities
- Translated the label's visual language into a commerce experience
- Designed editorial-first product and collection presentation
- Adapted WooCommerce for products, variations and currency without interface noise
- Built the front-end, motion and interaction
- Kept the shopping journey fast and consistent on mobile
The Solution
The interface is kept quiet so campaign imagery and motion carry the brand, while WooCommerce is adapted underneath to handle products, variations, currency and checkout. The expressive layer and the commercial layer are separated cleanly — the label looks like itself, and it still sells.
Impact & Results
- 01An expressive store that keeps the brand's character
